ABOUT THIS PIECE

This style is very much like pulling poses out of possibilities, er I mean chaos. It's a really fun challenge to build up thin layers that let the initial ink painting come through, while pushing it back just enough to also render a readable figure.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

And actually, my favorite thing is when people don't see the figure at all until I point it out. Of course, I can never unsee it, but I love that the work can reveal itself like that. Because I think we all see things a little bit differently...
